PART II

The next day, which was on Merdeka Eve, I requested b to meet me at Fairlane at dinner time. I was supposed to take lrt and meet up with papa at the station, but due to the heavy rain and my busy mama, papa picked me up at LM instead. We were a bit late from what we had planned, and the traffic made everything gone worst. We were stuck in the jam for like, 45mins!

Reached the place at 6pm! We started the preparation for the dinner immediately.

Boiled, chopped, stirred, mixed, etc.

When it comes to the can, both of us were smart enough to have no idea at all on how to make good use of the can opener. How embarrassing. So, papa went ganas korek-ing the can while I prepared fruit salad and fried potatoes.

We expected b to got stuck in jam like how we did. I texted him to see whether he was really stuck in it, but my baby was so smart that he used alternative road in order to avoid the massive jam. I got so shocked when he replied, 'I reached.' Because only at that moment, papa had just succeeded to open the can of pasta source. I heated the source quickly, and set up the dining table.

Ten minutes later, I went down to get b up.

He opened the door, and saw the food served on the table. He was surprised, like what had been planned. Throughout the dinner, what he did was just smile, smile, and still smile.

with the pasta. :)

the yummiest fruit salad I made X)

After dinner, I gave him a secret item and a handmade card done by me, which I have prepared it day and night. He spent about 15 minutes reading it.

He loves them, I'm beyond happy.

Then we went up to the pool and he swam with papa, while I refused to. FYI, he likes to swim, alot! From a noob in swimming last time, to knowing how to swim properly today. See the power of papa's coaching and visiting Fairlane often? I saw him swimming and jumping into the pool unusually joyful that night. I felt awesome. :)

I made pasta again for supper after the swim. Slurrrrp~ :D Fifteen minutes before the clock strikes midnight, we headed up to the pool area again to wait for fireworks. It was raining cats and dogs, and we only got to see one firework released in the sky. Disappointed, but at least something.

Merdeka eve was superb this year. And there it goes, the birthday lunch and surprise dinner for his 19th birthday!

Part I

I have made up a plan for baby's 19th birthday not long ago. The final decision was quite last minute though, and thus, some of them couldn't make it. So, only 5 of us turned up. Initially, we decided to have lunch in Shogun, OU. Papa even reserved a table for the evening. But due to some of the not-so-good comments I got from sis and kentut, I eventually made last minute changes to the venue. Since we always wanted to try on korean BBQ steamboat and haven't tried any of it yet, I decided to go for the recommendation from kentut. Which is....

HERE!

Papa was supposed to reach the place earlier in order to get the cake. But that morning, bee picked me up earlier at my place. I quickly texted papa telling him that we were on our way already. Throughout the whole journey, what b knew was just we were going to have a birthday lunch with papa and all. We were not late for the lunch at first, guess what made us late for an hour plus? Half an hour or more spent on finding a parking slot, and the remaining time was spent in Giordano, trying shirts. (it was having storewide promotion!)

Papa and peng waited for our arrival at the restaurant for quite long time. When we finally reached, we grabbed food without further delay. B & me ate terribly fast and a lot because it was our brunch. Around 4ish, kentut joined us and we continued eating.

After our table was cleared, papa went to get ready the cake. At this very important moment, he stood up. Heading to the direction where papa was. I quickly called him. He said he wanna get some food again. I stunned. And there he continued his way. Guess what's next?

He saw the cake.

At the end, the only surprise of the day clashed. by me. And papa ran to me with his !@#$%^&* face. :(

Anyways, the cake was then served. We sang a cacat birthday song and there he goes.

Blew candles, made wish, cut the cake.

His birthday gift from me. (LOL!)

We spent like 2 hours in the restaurant before we left. The night then ended there.

Oh wait, did I mention that he bought himself a sweater-like shirt and a Polo T for me from giordano sales? :D

We had our one day chill at Genting on the day itself when our results released. Frankly speaking, there is nothing much to do up at that place except gambling and feeling the cold breeze on your face. The results were released at 5pm. While we were waiting the time to pass, we stayed at starbucks and watched dramas we brought. Then, we had our lunch and went to bowl for one game before getting our results. At 4.40pm, we sat infront of those beaches in front of rock climbing area trying to steal the wifi to go online. And we succeed! haha~ the process of waiting almost got us heart attack. Every moment we refresh the page, we shouted our lungs out in silent.

Sem 2 was tough, but we have no fails. I'm satisfied with mine, he's satisfied with his. Happy ending. :) I'm kind of impressed. Despite the facts that we hang out almost everyday, including exams period, we managed to deal with our studies at the same time. Perhaps I can do better, but I'm already satisfied with what I've got now.

Baby, we proved something.

Celebrated Jassie's 18th at Bubba Gump, Sunway yesterday! We had a great tiring shopping day in the afternoon while waiting for the rest to come in the evening. I'm truly glad that we did not reach the place early in the morning, else I would have massive leg muscles pain today. Around 6, leng finished her class and surprised us with a guest, jingyi! Together we went into the restaurant and waited the birthday girl to arrive.

Had a great time there, and I was kind of eating in sweat. I guess the table was not huge enough to fit us all. Talking about food, the portion killed us all. At the end of the dinner, we all had bloated tummy back home. First regretful thing is that I missed the great moment. It's like, HOW COULD I MISSED IT? I blame my intestine, sigh. Next is that the glass broke. Lastly, the people I called to attend the talk ffk. I hold my believe till the very end, but the feedback was still no. My left eye had been tickling the whole day. I assume that caused all that happened. :) Unlucky day.

P/s: Hope you enjoyed the dinner and the awkward moment! And like the card I made. :)

During our mid term exam, the 6 bestie were having their holiday. So coincidently, it happened at the same right time. At that right timing when they felt relieved and enjoyed, both of us were unfortunately being smashed and tortured by assignments, exams, stress, etc. Despite all these, we moved on with our plans anyway. :)

So, we had bbq night at yan's place and zoo day. We planned to go PD initially, but due to some problems, we went ZOO instead! We got so tired spending a day there but we had lotsa fun, don't we? :)

Meet the animals in zoo, MY!

Snapped a whole damn lot of random moments and with the animals. Not to mention also that we sweated like nobody's business. Nice weather in the morning, but it rained in the evening. So, we did not manage to visit one last section- rabbit park if I'm not mistaken.

Left the place in late evening. Then, papa brought us to chili padi, ampang for dinner.

The main focus of this picture is not the person, but the bowl of TOMYAM MIHUN. It's so far the yummiest one I've ever tried. Loved the soup, loved the tomyam. Trust me, I couldn't forget the taste till today. ;D Btw, some say chili padi's food sucks. Try the one in ampang. Might be different! :)

From the very moment I decided to take up this work, I honestly do not know whether it is a good decision. I have many things to consider about. Eventually, I made up my mind to involve in it because I believe I can manage everything else well. But I felt like being brainwashing by different says, different people every single day. Some support, yet some don't. You know, I wanted to give up so badly. Every rejection or a no from people, I hardly take it. But one thing I know is that to become successful in it, it takes time. Really. So, I'm gonna do it in a slow pace.

Went for the seminar held yesterday. Well, no regret I attended. I learnt the strategies in business, the mindset that we should have, the ways to overcome the fear that lies in everyone, etc. You see, the seminar does not only promote its own market, but the knowledge that you gain can be applied in all types of business. Mum was right. She said, 'whether or not u interested in this business, if you attend, you'll gain and no lose.' :)

I feel extra productive today! Because we finally went shopping and hunted clothes. Our wardrobes have new members now muahahah! I bought a soft pink shorts from giordano, another 2 tops from cotton on and a secret item. They say girls buy alot when they shop, but how come we go the other way round? Get what I mean? *wink*

SALE is still on, people. Have you grabbed something yet? C:

Leadership camp, which is set compulsory for everyone to participate in my college, was on 16th last month. There are two different venues, Melaka and Perak. One is more to indoor activities while another one is adventurous. And guess which one I got? Gopeng, Perak! Which was a damn great news because I prefer outdoor activities. ;)

Here we have the toilet at the camp. They recycled the water tanks and modified them into this!

... and our dorm.

I'll briefly talk about the activities. First day was nothing much because we got there in the late evening. Had a bit of briefing and games. Next morning, we went to a cave. The first part of it was all stairs, where we climb higher and higher to the so called peak of the cave. The second half was real dark, where we used our torchlight. We walked through the river and squad when necessary. Otherwise, we would have hit the sharp rocks above us. HAHA, the funny thing is we wore helmet throughout the time in the cave. Protection. :) In the afternoon, we went high ropes. It consists of three levels: 2 rock climbing, and 1 high ropes challenge (including flying fox). My group started of with rock climbing. We took quite long to finish those two though. Unfortunately, heavy rain hit us and we had to stop the activity. To conclude the day, I did not manage to experience the high rope ones, which I count that as the most challenging of all three. :(

Moving on to the last day in Gopeng, we had... white water rafting! Oh yeah, it does scare the hell outta me at first. I thought I could never go through it because, 1) I can't swim. 2) I'm so worried I might just fly off from the boat and bye bye. The first part we need to float and let our body follow the rush of the river water (which was heck scary!). Surprisingly I found it quite fun after that, although I hit a damn rock below my waist and got a bruise there. Then we finally got up to our respective boat and there we go. :) Oh yeah, it was hell fun I would say. Everyone loved it so much. I would seriously wanna go for it again hehe.

Then, it's time to pack and go home. I miss him like krazzy when I was in the camp. B waited me at college for my arrival. Hoho, I felt loved. It's always the best thing on earth to see your love waiting when you come home agree? Then, he brought me to Manhattan @ midvalley for dinner. He revealed that there was this little surprise that he wanted to give me on my official birth day but failed. It's okay baby because as I said, a wish from you and having you with me on my special day are more than enough. What could I ask more when you were already there for me at the very moment I came home? xoxo :)

I used to love to receive presents in the past. But as I grow older, I realize that birthday present is just an object to symbolize and as a memory for that particular year of my birthday. But the feeling of wondering what's lying under the nice wrapping is always awesome. Agree? :)

From Et, I loved the top and the bracelet, alot! I finally have one. heheh ;) Arigato sista!

This was from papa. He claimed himself as 'Aaron Express' and drove all the way to my house to pass this box of pressies to me. There are 4 items in it, with each represents respective meaning, as well as a letter of essays. Thank you, papa! I love 'em too!

This polo shirt is limited edition. I'm proud to be the only one who owns it in the entire world. It was from the artistic kentut! He painted the words on the shirt himself. I asked, 'Why pink?' He answered, 'Because pink is the smallest size I can find'. HAHAHAHA, I love it though. Thanks kentut!

This was from an unexpected new met friend of jassie, kaido! Its a couple of small bottle written happy birthday on it. He's also the first guy whose birthday falls on the same day as me! Thanks! :)

This was from laiyee. Her creative in pressie does shock me a little because it's something unusual that I've seen by far. She made a card with buttons and flower tea, made a small pillow with flower teas inside, and a blueish long necklace. The card is simple, but I like it. And don't you think the small pillow is cute as well? hehe thank you again!

This little magic cube with our pictures on it and a 4GB cute thumbdrive are from the girls in college. Before min and I leave for leadership camp in the afternoon, we all had lunch @ pizzahut at college. They bought a small piece of cake from SR too. I didn't know the cube can be decorated this way as a gift. hahaha~ Thank you girls! I likey. :)

Last but not least!

A short jeans pant that I wanted so long but didn't hunt it in the shop. He went back to the shop alone and bought it. The next morning, surprised. :) thanks bee. xoxo

It's about a month I'd officially turned eighteen. This year is a little special because I got to celebrate with my baby. Coincidently, the day falls on the weekend where I have to be away to Gopeng for a leadership camp. So, b threw a small birthday dinner with my 2nd-family for me a week earlier, on a saturday night. ;)

On saturday morning, they gathered at jassie's house and went to supermarket to buy the ingredients for the cake. Then, they mixed, stirred, crunched, squeezed, etc etc during the baking process.

Amazingly, I was at home finishing english assignment while they were busying with all these, if I'm not mistaken. I was only told by him that, 'tonight we're going for a dinner' & 'dress nicely'. So, I waited the whole afternoon. In the late evening, I got myself ready but b came late to my house. Consequence? We got stuck in a massive traffic jam on our way to Puchong. The journey went quite scary though. Because he was somehow busy with something, anxious with something. You know how I felt? Frustrated! Scary! Because I knew something was going not right, yet I'd no idea what it was. So, I ended up holding myself in a curious state of mind throughout the whole journey. hahaha~

When we finally reached the restaurant, b brought me to a side table and said he had to go back to his car for something. Well, I did not want him to go but he left. So again, I was afraid. Few minutes later, he came back and seemed unusual happy. So I turned around... and... my 2nd-family jumped to me (they were trying to hide behind the 'HUGE' sofa XD). Then I got speechless, surprised, and touched that they made their way there. People, to be honest, my tears were just about to fill my entire eyeball and flow down my eyes, but I hold on. Because as far as I know, some of them are busying with assignments and they hardly sneak out from house. That's where I felt touched and appreciate their presence. Then, we switched to a long dining table and placed our order!

Meet us! ;)

papa, jassie, kokentut

Et, birdy yan

They have tired face on them, and I guess they were all starving. When the food were served, we enjoyed our meal quietly. After finished our meal, I went to toilet. When I was about to reach my seat, they sang a birthday song. I got scared for a sec because I did not even realized the cake was already lighted with candles on the table! Blur enough? Hmm. That moment was rather awkward. I'm still not used to a group of people singing birthday song to me. haha~ Then I secretly made a wish, and blew the candles. And at this time, b had gotten ready his hand with whipcream under the dining table and SPLASH, there I go. Oh my pity nose.

In a split second, the whipcream war started. The second person who kena from b was....

TADAAAA!

Then we have our third victim, PAPA!

And lastly, they revenged on him! XD

The remaining 3 of them were safe. Either they got attacked little cream or they got to escape from the attacks. Then, everyone went for a wash up session. I think we not only made the place dirty, but the toilet door as well. To add on, we used up the tissue to clean/dry up ourselves. Opppps X)

After finishing the cake, we left and headed to leng's place. Jassie and kentut stayed a short while and then got back. B, me and papa stayed for FIFA midnight match- third placing (GERMANY vs Uruguay). But we were so tired that some of us slept half way through the match. So, the night ended there.

I was flipping through my birthday photo album again and I decided to credit this particular picture!

She turned herself into THIS to avoid being caught by me when she was driving on the road. It seriously makes me laugh nonstop and I couldn't deny the fact that, ITS THE BEST PIC OF THE NIGHT!

Well, I do appreciate a lot that all of you made your way to such far place. And even glad that you guys made it. I know its a simple dinner and we only got to stayed there for a few hours, but its more than enough. Because I never thought you people will appear right in front of me in the first place. Thanks for the night! and sorry I made u guys got so tired for the preparation. :)

Jassie, I thank you specially for being the 'driver' of the night. Driving them all the way to the restaurant, and send
ing them back to cheras safely. Also, thank you for your place. I hope they did not mess up your kitchen and cause trouble. That's really, so kind of you. TQ! Oh btw, I see ur potential in spying. KEEP IT UP! XD

Bee, I know you'd put in a lot effort in coming out with this plan. The incidents happened in between, the mistakes, the lies that u've ma
de... they don't matter anymore. Because everything you do, I know it by heart. The night may be imperfect, but honestly, I'm grateful enough. ILoveYou bee, thank you for the everything.

AND of course,  I shouldn't leave behind my beloved mummy aka peng! You couldn't attend. But I know~ Work comes first. I understand hehehe. But seriously, the night would be even better if u were there with us. GRRR! :?
