![]() You know when we just got together, we loved to watch movie in cinema a lot. Maybe it's because that's what couple usually does: eat, shop, movie. And for us, the weightage for that is 80:15:5 now. Cause as time pass, we dont really fancy movie anymore. Partly because he has tuition at night and also come to think bout it, it's a waste of $$ especially for people like us who just watch the movie for the sake of watching it. However, there are still good movie that everyone's talking about. So this month, I got us two pairs of premier screening on The Lorax and The Hunger Games from nuffnang! I thought I could get tix for The Vow as well but no, it was tough cause most love stories sound the same unless you really have an amazing one. Nonetheless, I was more than happy that I got the other two cause they were both as great! When it comes to cartoons, I always prefer human characters instead of animals. Maybe because everything seem so cute in the cartoon world. Another reason is that it looks more realistic. So The Lorax is exactly my cup of taste. I think it's worth the watch because of the whole idea/message that it convey to us: our nature is dying, save the world. Lorax is super cute, and the grandma is super cool too! Sis wanted to watch the movie which Dilly from Mix.fm does the voice-over for the character 'seafood' but I convinced her to go for Lotax. And the feedback was, no regrets. Yay! Just wondering will they have lorax soft toy in the market soon haha! As of Hunger Games, we watched it yesterday. To me the movie plot is nice la but the camera was rather shaky at the beginning. It's like the camera was moving left to right too fast that it irritated me a lot. And the movie took freaking two hours! Overall is consider good. Its concept is something similar with a dvd movie called Arena that I watched at home. Both are about fighters killing each other till one last survivor stand still, under a man controlled war field. Arena was much aggressive and a lot sex scene so, not sure was it screened in the cinema. I think the victims are really pitiful. Somehow this idea is like contributing a new path for greedy people to make more money by presenting such entertainment to audience. Hopefully this doesn't happen in tv show today cause we may not even realize it. Don't miss out, watch 'em today if you haven't! :) |
